Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS)

ROAR = respect, organization, attitude, responsibilityWestborough Middle School makes use of the PBIS system to reinforce the school's behavioral expectations of respect, organization, attitude, and responsibility (ROAR).

We believe these expectations will help students to be successful during the school day and throughout the year.

A matrix to illustrate what these expectations look like in various settings such as the classroom, hallways, multi-purpose room, blacktop, and bathrooms is available on page 9 of the student planners, which have been generously supplied free of charge by the PTSA.

ROAR posters are also posted in every classroom and around the school.

It is our hope that we can make the school a positive and equitable place for all students by explicitly teaching these expectations.
